TAKE BACK THE CITIES, SUBURBS, AND CORNFIELDS OF AMERICA

They look down from their penthouse

and turn up their nose

They see us all

as a murder of crows

Bunch of pests

and foul nuisances

trying to eat of their crops

Not sons

and daughters

and mommas

and pops

They don't want to hear

of our lower class rambling

Why shan't we continue

our financial gambling?

Their scarecrow is the media

which deems us all decadent

We shall not yield

the cornfield

For we are

the 99 percent!

Workers of America we must unite!

Shall we sink further into the abyss, abdication and abandonment of the Havenots!

If this is left unchallenged then what chance do workers have?

We are like conquered soldiers working for the conquerors.

Just waiting to be stripped of the last vestiges of our dignity.

Corporations, private and public, need to be called out for their greedy decisions that are sanctioned in the American Free Market Frankenstein Monster economic policies we have now that fuels a Race To The Bottom Wages And Benefits War Against Workers.

American workers have become so complacent in their opposition to such destructive policies, even one as egregious as this one, the rebuilding of the Verrazzano Bridge in New York City, which sees our taxpayer money going to China, us using their steel, instead of employing American steel workers of which there are many unemployed.

A veritable slap in the face to the over 14+ millions of unemployed Americans.

The culture of individuality that is the so-called Free Market now is a brilliantly orchestrated coup de tat by corporate and plutocratic media through the constant saturation of corporate ads, celebrity culture, sports icons and Snookie media.

It has left workers and the poor who are being slaughtered in this economy, mocked as "takers," in what can only be described as a marketing campaign of a symbiotic national superiority complex which combines economic patriotism mixed with a religious fervor that heaps disdain and disposability on the poor and middle class workers of this nation.

Look what I have done!

Screw the rest if they cannot make it!

They should not be pitied!

There is no money to be made on empathy!

This is our National Motto.

Our Paul Ryan economics that derive from the philosophy of Ayn Rand.

The same Ayn Rand who praised a serial killer because he was "able to do exactly what he pleased without worry of what others thought."

The "exactly what he pleased" part it turns out, was the ruthless cutting and dismembering of a little girl the killer had kidnapped.

This is the philosophy that drives our Free Market Frankenstein Monster economic policies.

Gone are the days when companies felt that what was good for all of its workers was good for the company.

Now workers are discarded regularly.

And marginalized. Temp Nation.

Disposable in an economy that favors stock market prices, growth and profits.

CEOs care more about their bonuses than the human capital they employ. Workers are seen not as an asset, but as wasteful, and in need of a trimming whenever possible.

The steady decline of workers wages and benefits and unions is due to decisions like this one, using taxpayer money to buy Chinese steel to rebuild the Verazzano Bridge, that are made only with profit incentives in mind, for corporations and plutocrats, and not for American workers.

These decisions are made to cripple workers and unions and subjugate them and mitigate any and all power they might still have and make them acquiesce to their masters - Big Rich and Big Corporation.

WalMart and many other American corporations will fly their flags on July 4th, disingenuously crowing of their devout loyalty to America and democracy while they laugh at American workers as they are laid off, continuing their attacks on unions and workers collective bargaining agreements.

Keeping the toilers marginalized due to the idol that they really adore, one much more worthy in their eyes than any history lesson on democracy, and that idol is greed via the love of profits.

These multi-national corporations could care less about national pride and have no interest in the the overwhelming majority of Americans who were middle class and now poor, working and now jobless, housed and now homeless, cared for and now abandoned.

We Americans who have clung to the illusion of the American Dream will vow on these Shutdown Government Days to fight back against corporatism and plutocratic power.

To let the elites in business, media and politics know that they must change course to the winds of the great social, political and economic changes that are at hand.

Else we shall rise up and demand a government and economic ship that is steered By the people, For the people, and Of the people.

INEQUALITY IS REAL! The 1% holding the economic wealth is no longer just a myth as the middle class is slowly dissipating into the abyss.

In order for America to stay afloat we must invest in the middle class boat.

We must invest citizen capital, not just blind consumerism, in ourselves, and to vouch for our children's futures.

We need to combat the very real and destructive actions of The Free Market Frankenstein Monster that is running amok all around us and threatens American democracy and has made a mockery of The American Dream.

Let us all join together in the fields, towns and cities of this nation and take back our beloved country from the savage control of the Free Market Frankenstein Monster.

We shall slay and banish the beast.

Demand and wrest control back from the plutocrats and corporatists.

Raise your voices brothers and sisters!

Together in solidarity we shall make The Appeal!

In our unity we shall gain the power of the collective consciousness.

Which will overpower the monied interests via the sheer volume of protest against economic, social and political unfairness that fills the ether more and more like toxic carbon monoxide in an already overheating planet.

Only together in solidarity can we begin to overturn the selfish and greedy economic system that disproprtionately favors the elites and corporations, disdains workers and their families, and pivot in a new direction.

A direction that concentrates primarily on taking care of the least amongst us instead of those most well off.

A new direction that promotes a spirit of togetherness and community along with entrepreunership to enable all of our children to live a future of peace, prosperity and happiness. With all having access to the basic human needs like housing, food, water, health care, day care, education and the ability to be gainfully employed by corporations that are willing to pay dignified wages with benefits and retirement packages. Above all we want a nation that puts the long term interests of people over the short term allure of profits.

Check in on our daily "viewspaper" The Appeal and share our stories and join in our grassroots movement to eradicate the Free Market Frankenstein Monster.

We are profoundly more interested in the building up of families and communities in our broader society than in just what happens in our own individual sphere. The spirit of humanity, love, and empathy we believe takes precedent over the inhuman Mother Earth destroying material demands of corporations.

We sincerely thank all of you who are in the vanguard joining in solidarity to help us together make The Appeal.
