THE PACIFIST ARCHAEOLOGIST

I have traversed

Through the thickest jungles

Fought off exotic bees

Searched aperch

The highest mountains

And sailed the roughest seas
Tried medicines
From tribal men

Sled the North Pole
In the coldest degrees

Looked inside of lions mouths
And picked them of their fleas
Crawled around
Upon the ground
And inspected the highest trees

My Search goes on
And on and on

Quite indefinitely

I must find the potion

To get rid of the

War notion

And put this puzzled World

At peace
